Terms and Conditions

Referrals

Referrals are accepted from self-funding clients or from those who hold a policy with a healthcare insurance. Referrals can be made directly or via a referral by GPs and other professionals, including Rehabilitation Providers.

Healthcare Insurances

I am registered with the following Healthcare Insurances: BUPA, AVIVA, AXA PPP, WPS, CIGNA, Vitality Health. When making contact please note that you will be asked to provide the authorisation number for treatment; the service covered will depend on the type of the policy held with the insurance. Please note that some insurance policies will not cover the whole of the fee; in this case, the client will be responsible for the outstanding balance. Please contact your insurance company for further details about what you are entitled to.

Fees

Payments

Fees vary according to the type of intervention, whether it is a specialist assessment or ongoing therapy.

Payments should be made on the day of therapy, either in cash, cheque or BACS (unless otherwise arranged).

Policy for cancellations and missed appointments

Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice before the appointment or non attended appointments without any prior notice will be charged at the full price. As much notice as possible will be provided in case appointments need to be cancelled/rescheduled.

Confidentiality

All information discussed within treatment will be treated as confidential; exceptions are in cases of significant concern about your safety or that of others, i.e. where there is a risk to harm self or being harmed. I am registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), all recorded client information are held securely and kept confidential.

I abide by the Code of Ethics and Conduct of the British Psychological Society and the Data Protection Act 1998. No disclosure to third parties of client information will occur without the prior informed consent of the client.
